Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 — applies from 20 January 2027
Formal, multilingual check of your machinery instructions for use
DocCheck reads your instructions for use in every language and reports — page by page, with quotations — which safety warnings are missing or diverge between language versions and which elements required by Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 are absent. Then it hosts the official version at a stable URL, with every version kept for 10 years.
For machine builders — SMEs in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria — without a technical documentation department.
What DocCheck is — and what it is not
DocCheck is a formal analysis of the documentation. It is not a conformity assessment of the machine, it does not replace the risk assessment under EN ISO 12100, and it does not attest the technical correctness of the contents found. The manufacturer remains solely responsible for the machine and its documentation.

What a finding looks like
No screenshots: this is the structure of every finding in the report, as text.
W-07 Safety warning ABSENT in DE severity: high
source (IT, p. 12) "Prima di ogni intervento di manutenzione
scollegare l'alimentazione e attendere 5 minuti."
DE — no corresponding warning found (pp. 10–14 checked)
C-1.7.4.2(m) Residual risks PARTIAL
required information on residual risks that remain despite
the protective measures
found (p. 31) "Restrisiken: Quetschgefahr an der Zuführung"
missing residual risks of the maintenance mode
Free check: your 3 main findings in about 10 minutes

What we do not do: we do not assess the machine, we do not translate, we do not write the manual.
Frequently asked questions
- What do you need from us?
- The PDF of the instructions for use with a text layer (selectable text): one file per language or a single multilingual file. Scans and image-only PDFs cannot be analysed.
- How long does it take?
- Findings within 24 working hours (Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 Estonian time) from readable files and confirmed payment. The time is indicative; the free check usually arrives within minutes.
- What if you find nothing?
- We say so, and the report says so. A report with zero findings is a valid result, not a failure — and it is still a formal analysis, not a judgement on the machine.
- Who reads our documents?
- Automatic systems only. Your files are processed by language-model providers under business terms that exclude training on your data; no other provider ever receives your uploads. Files and reports are deleted 90 days after delivery unless you have an active hosting subscription.
- Can we get a refund?
- Yes: 14 days, no questions asked, on the same payment method, for every check. Hosting is refunded pro rata by day. Details in the refund policy.
- How does invoicing work?
- Business customers only. Invoice by email after payment via Stripe (card or SEPA). With a valid EU VAT number outside Estonia the reverse charge applies; otherwise Estonian VAT is added.
